Self-generated Love

Q: As I grow, I feel more distant from people…more adrift in my own consciousness?

A: Here is the problem. You change, you grow… but the world stays the same, essentially. You, by effect, are more and more alien, less and less recognizable to those who are still your sisters and brothers. And, if you fail at self-discovery and self-improvement, you will feel more and more alone. This is why self-actualization and eventual self-realization is a necessary, attainable goal. Otherwise, who will you relate to? Who will you love? Who will you find worthy of your interest, your trust, your worship, if not your own Self?
