CLARENCE P. TRAUSCH, ED.D., C.C.H.

Clarence P. Trausch is a graduate of Northern Illinois University with a Doctor of Education degree in Counseling Psychology. He is a former graduate faculty member of the University of Phoenix, and the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology where he teaches counseling psychology, the psychology of wellness, and mind/body healing. He is also a Board Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist, through the American Board of Hypnotherapy, a specialist in Guided Imagery, and an authority in Meditation having lived and trained as a religious monk for eight years.
 

Dr. Trausch is a Personal Life Coach, and lectures and leads workshops in personal empowerment, meditation, intuition development, mind/body medicine, and motivational psychology. His skill with Complementary Alternative Medicine, and his success in obtaining healing results have led to his being invited to lead workshops, seminars and retreats about the United States in topics related to Mind/Body Medicine.
 

In addition to his Western psychological and spiritual education, his experiences living in the Far East, and studying Meditation, Kriya Yoga, Breathwork, Raja Yoga, Transpersonal Psychology, Healing Yoga, and other Mind/Body philosophies and disciplines, bring a compelling universal flavor and foundation his teachings.
 

Dr. Trausch received Certificated Training from the Gestalt Institute of Chicago, Biofeedback training from the Biofeedback Institute of San Francisco, Sexual Dysfunction Therapy training from Loyola University Medical School, Kriya Yoga Training from the Self-realization Fellowship, and Psychosynthesis training from the Midwest Center for Psychosynthesis.
 

He has also been executive director of the Center for Counseling Arts in Chicago, Illinois, for ten years, teaching and practicing Mind/Body Medicine, psychotherapy, life coaching, meditation, intuition development, personal empowerment, and spiritual psychology. throughout the 1980s
 

In his doctoral research, Dr. Trausch conducted experimental research on meditation, self-actualization, and intuition. In his practice, he brings the fruit of these results in the psychology of wellness to individual clients as well as to families and groups.
